Hello friends today we are going to learn about how to cook Vegetable spring Rolls. The Vegetable Spring Roll is a very demandable snack and also listed into the list of starter dish. Vegetable Spring Roll is a prefect combination of the food of Indian and Chinese. The Vegetable Spring Roll is most probably found into the Indian restaurants and small fast food stall. 


The roll is made by maida and make it crispy by fry it over the medium flam and fill inside it some combination of different type of vegetables, and along-with the vegetables noodles and soy sauce also used in some amount to make it delicious. This is very easy to make and cook Vegetable Spring Roll perfectly at own home. After making it you have to serve it with tomato sauce, Green Chutney. So guys lets start.....

Required Items for Vegetable Spring Roll:

1.    3 teaspoons chopped Ginger and Garlic

2.    1 cup chopped Capsicum

3.    1 cup chopped Carrot

4.    1 cup chopped Cabbage

5.    1 cup chopped French Beans


6.    1 cup chopped Green or normal Onion

7.    1 cup Boiled Noodles

8.    1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Powder

9.    2 teaspoon light Soy Sauce

10.    Salt according to taste


11.    4 teaspoons Oil

12.    20 Spring roll Wrappers

13.    4 tablespoons Maida mix with 4 tablespoons water

14.    Oil, for deep frying

15.    Deep Fry pot or Kadahi


Time taken to prepare Vegetable Spring Roll:

1.    Preparation Time:  20 minutes

2.    Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Procedure to prepare Vegetable Spring Roll:

First of all chop all the vegetables as per the instructions given above in required items. Now keep separate the white part of the onion from the green part of the onion. Now boil the noodles as per the instructions given on the backside of the noodles packet. 


Now first cut the carrot it either horizontally or vertically into thick slices. Arrange 4-6 slices into a stack and then cut into thins strips using a knife. Now give heat 4 teaspoons oil in a broad pan over high flame and after oil getting hot add chopped ginger and garlic and stir for 25 seconds. Aftertaht add white part of spring onion and stir continues for 40-50 seconds. 


When you found the color of onion turned into light brown then add capsicum, carrot, cabbage and French beans and stir continues for 5-7 minutes. Now add green part of spring onion, boiled noodles and black pepper powder. Also add soy sauce and salt (according to test). 

Now mix all the things properly and stir continues them for 4 minutes. Turn off flame. The material is ready to fill into the Vegetable Spring Roll. Now we make some rolls.

Procedure to prepare Rolls:

Make mixture of  4 tablespoons maida with  4 tablespoons water to make a smooth and medium thick paste and also you may follow the instructions which are given on the wrapper package. If you are using frozen wrappers, defrost them first and then cover with a damp towel for 2-3 minutes. So the wrapper will come out easily.

Take one wrapper sheet and place it on a plate or on chopping board. Place 3-4 tablespoons stuffing at the bottom of the corner. Now keep 1-inch space from each sides and apply few paste of the maida on the edges using your fingertip or brush. Cover the stuffing by folding the bottom corner. Now fold the roll from one side to wrap the end portion of stuffing than after fold it from another side.



Now, start rolling gently towards the top edge. Seal it tightly by sticking open ends. Put down  it into the plate or any container and make remains all rolls by following the same method. Keep them covered to prevent them from drying or dust also. Now give some heat to oil in a pan or kadahi over medium flame. 

When oil is getting medium hot, place 4-6 prepared rolls at a time (according to the size of the kadahi) in oil and make them deep fry until the color of the rolls is convert into light golden brown and crispy. After frying take them out gently and put them into a plate.  Now the Vegetable spring rolls are ready to serve. Cut them into half and serve with tomato sauce or green chutney.
