The Paneer Pasanda is an another delicious and testy dish which is cooked from paneer. The Paneer Pasanda is also look like as paneer curry but the it is completely different for looking then other paneer curry. The Paneer Pasanda is smooth, creamy and mild spicy gravy compared with other paneer curry.

To making the Paneer Pasanda uses shallow fried paneer cubes and pureed onion, tomato and cashew nut paste to make a delicious curry with rich creamy gravy. Serve it with vegetable pulao or stuffed potato paratha or as you like most for the best experience. So guys today we are going to learn about how to prepare and cook Paneer Pasanda, let's start.....

Required items to prepare Paneer Pasanda:

1.    500 gms Paneer

2.    6 medium chopped tomatoes

3.    4 medium chopped Onions

4.    10-12 Cashew Nuts

5.    1 inch piece of Ginger

6.    7-8 Garlic cloves

7.    2 Bay Leaf

8.    4 Black Cardamoms

9.    2 chopped Green Chili

10.    1 teaspoon Kasturi Methi

11.    1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala

12.    1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

13.    1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder

14.    1 teaspoon Coriander-Cumin Powder

15.    1 cup Fresh Cream

16.    1 cup Water

17.    7 tablespoons Oil

18.    4 tablespoons Fresh Coriander Leaves

19.    Salt according to test

Time taken to prepare Paneer Pasanda:

1.    Preparation Time: 20 minutes

2.    Cooking Time: 30 minutes

1.    8 serving

Procedure to prepare Paneer Pasanda:

First of all grind raw cashew nuts in the small jar of a grinder until smooth powder and mix it with 3 tablespoons water to make cashew nut paste. Afterthat crush ginger, garlic and green chili in the same jar of grinder to make the paste of ginger, garlic and chili.

Now blanch the onions and make onion puree. Now cook the onions into the hot water after cooking drain water and crush onion in a grinder to make onion puree. Also make tomato puree by crushing tomatoes in the small jar of grinder. Now cut paneer into 2-4 inch squares and cut each square diagonally into two triangles. 

Afterthat give some heat of 5 tablespoons oil in a fry pan or kadahi ob medium flame. Now make shallow fry paneer cubes until the color of its edges turns light brown. Drain them and place them on paper napkin to absorb excess oil.  Now give heat to remaining 2 tablespoon oil in the same fry pan on medium flame and add ginger, garlic and chili paste, bay leaf and cardamom in heated oil, and sauté all them for few seconds.

Now add onion puree and sauté until the color of the onion puree turns light brown and oil starts to separate, it will take 3-4 minutes. After that add tomato puree and also sauté it until oil starts to separate from sides; it will takes 2-3 minutes.

Now add cashew nut paste and sauté it for 2 to 3 minutes and add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin-coriander powder and salt.  Now mix all them properly  and cook for 2 minutes and add 1 cup water. Now let the mixture boil, when you found the mixture starts boiling, let it cook for 6-8 minutes.

Afterthat add Kasturi Methi and shallow fried paneer cubes. Now mix properly all the things and cook for 4 minutes. Now add fresh cream and mix properly and cook for 3 minutes. At the last switch off the flame and let curry stand for 7 minutes. Now The Paneer Pasanda is ready to serve. Transfer prepared Paneer Pasanda in a serving bowl and garnish with green coriander leaves.
