Required items to prepare Paneer Korma:

1.    2 cup Paneer 

2.    2 chopped or grated medium Onion

3.    1 cup yogurt

4.    1/2 cup fresh or dry grated Coconut

5.    1 teaspoon grated Ginger

6.    2 chopped Green Chili

7.    15 Cashew Nuts

8.    2 teaspoon Poppy Seeds

9.    2 small piece of Bay Leaf

10.    2 Green Cardamom

11.    4-5 Black Peppercorns

12.    1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder

13.    1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

14.    2 teaspoon Coriander Powder

15.    2 teaspoon Sugar

16.    3 tablespoons Cooking Oil

17.    4 tablespoons chopped Coriander Leaves

18.    Salt according to taste

19.    2 cup Water

Time taken to prepare Paneer Korma:

1.    Preparation Time: 15 minutes

2.    Cooking Time: 25 minutes

Serving quantity:

1.    4 serving

Procedure to prepare Paneer Korma:

First of all add yogurt, coconut, ginger, green chili, cashew nuts and poppy seeds in a small chutney jar of the grinder. Now grind all the things which we put into the grinder jar to make a thick paste and transfer it into a small bowl and keep aside until required.

Now this time to make heat-up 2 tablespoon oil in a non-stick fry pan or heavy based kadai on medium flame. Afterthat add paneer cubes and shallow fry them until the color of the Paneer cubs turns into light brown and transfer them to a plate. 

Now heat remaining 1 tablespoon oil in the same pan on medium flame and add bay leaf, green cardamom and black peppercorns and sauté them for 20-40 seconds afterthat add chopped onion and sauté until turns light brown, This process will take approx. 3-4 minutes. Now add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and mix properly.

Now add yogurt-coconut-cashew nut paste , sugar and salt according to test and stir all the things properly and cook for 2 minutes. Afterthat add 2 cup water and mix properly and cook for approx. 5-6 minutes, stir in between occasionally to prevent sticking.

Now add paneer cubes and mix properly and cook until gravy turns thick of for approx. 7-8 minutes. Now switch off the flame and transfer curry to a serving bowl. The Paneer Korma is ready to serve, serve Paneer Korma by garnishing with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with paratha or chapatti.
