The Mutter Paneer is a delicious or testy combination of paneer and healthy green peas in a mild spicy tomato based gravy. So guys today we are going to learn about how to cook this best testy and delicious Mutter Paneer, let's start.


Required items to prepare Mutter Paneer:

1.    2 cup Green Peas

2.    2 cup Paneer in cube formation

3.    2 medium chopped Onion

4.    2 chopped Green Chili

5.    4-6 cloves of Garlic


6.    1 inch chopped piece of Ginger

7.    4 medium chopped Tomatoes

8.    10-12 Cashew Nuts, soaked in hot water for 15 minutes

9.    1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder

10.    1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder


11.    2 teaspoon Coriander Powder

12.    1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder

13.    2 tablespoon oil for frying, also you can use ghee 

14.    2 cup Water

15.    Salt according to taste


Time taken to prepare Mutter Paneer:

1.    Preparation Time: 15 minutes.

2.    Cooking Time: 30 minutes.

Procedure to prepare Mutter Paneer:

First of all grind onion, green chili, ginger and garlic together in the small chutney jar of a grinder to make paste and also grind the tomatoes to make tomato puree. Alongwith these grind cashew nuts with 2 tablespoons water until turns into smooth paste. 


Now make heat-up 4 tablespoons oil in fry pan or kadai on medium flame and add crushed onion paste and salt because the salt is make helps to cook fast the onions, Sauté it until oil starts to separate. Now add tomato puree and cook on medium flame until oil starts to separate, this process will take approx. 7-10 minutes. 


Afterthat add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and salt. Stir and cook for 2 minutes after feel like cook well then add cashew nut paste. Again stir and cook for 2-3 minutes. Now this to add boiled peas and 1 cup water; now mix properly and cook for 4-5 minutes. Now add paneer cubes and cook for 4-5 minutes. 


In this recipe we have added plain paneer cubes but you can use fried paneer to enhance the flavor. Now switch of the flame and transfer prepared curry to a serving bowl. Now the Mutter Paneer is ready to serve. Serve it with butter kulcha, Tandoori Chapatti, Plain Chapatti and puri or also with cucumber tomato onion salad and gajar halwa for a complete meal.
