Manchow Soup is also popular soup recipe same like Mushroom Soup Recipe and Sweet Corn Soup Recipe. This hot and spicy vegetarian soup and it is perfect to serve as starter and also with the main course like noodles during cold winter season.


The making procedure of Vegetarian Manchow Soup is same as hot and sour soup but the Manchow Soup is the best choice with the crispy fried noodles at the time of serving. I defiantly sure that after consuming this soup you will be going to be a big fan of this soup, so now we are going to know about recipe of Manchow Soup, lets strat............


Required Items for Manchow Soup:

1.    4 tablespoons Corn flour

2.    1tablespoon Oil

3.    1tablespoon chopped Garlic

4.    1tablespoon chopped Ginger

5.    2 medium chopped Onion

6.    1/2 cup chopped Carrot

7.    1/2 cup chopped Green Beans


8.    1/2 cup chopped Capsicum

9.    1/2 cup chopped Tomato

10.    1 cup chopped Cabbage

11.    4 tablespoons chopped Coriander Leaves

12.    4 cups Water

13.    2 tablespoon Soy Sauce

14.    4 teaspoons Chili Sauce

15.    1 teaspoon Vinegar

16.    Black Pepper Powder

17.    2 tablespoons chopped Green Onion

18.    Salt according to taste


Time taken to prepare Manchow Soup:

1.    Preparation Time: 20 minutes


2.    Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Procedure to make Manchow Soup:

First of all mixed well 2 tablespoon corn flour over boiled noodles. Toss them well to coat each noodle with flour evenly. Making deep fry the noodles in fry pan hot oil until being crispy. Mix 2 tablespoons corn flour with 1/2 cup water and keep aside. Now give Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a kadai over medium flame, afterthat add 1 tablespoon chopped garlic, 1 tablespoon chopped ginger and 2 chopped onion. 

Now make them continue fry until the onion color change into light brown, approx. 2-4 minutes.  After changing color of onion add 1/2 cup chopped carrot, 1/2 cup chopped green beans, 1/2 cup chopped capsicum, 1/2 cup chopped tomato and 1 cup chopped cabbage. 


Make them cooked continue until all veggies are cooked but still crunchy, for approx. 4-minutes. Now add 4 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Afterthat add 4 cups of water. Add 2 teaspoons chili sauce and 1 teaspoon vinegar and also add 2 tablespoon soy sauce, after mixing all above things mix well and let the soup cook over medium flame.


When the soup starts boiling, add corn flour with water mixture and mix well. Now stir it continuously for a minute to prevent any lumps formation. Add black pepper powder and salt according to taste. Add 2-3 tablespoons chopped green onion. Let the soup cook until it starts to thicken. It will take 5-8 minutes. 

Turn off the flame. Manchow Soup is ready for serving. Transfer it to individual serving bowls and garnish with green onions.
