Required items for making Mai Tai Cocktail:

1. 50 ml golden rum

2. 2 tablespoon orange curacao

3. 4 teaspoon orgeat syrup

4. 50 ml lime juice

5. 50 ml dark rum

7. Ice cubes

8. Crushed ice

9. Wedge of pineapple, a lime wheel or a cocktail cherry for garnishing

Procedure for making Mai Tai Cocktail:

First of all take a cocktail shaker and pour the golden rum, curacao, orgeat, lime juice and sugar syrup into this cocktail shaker with a handful of ice cubes. Now shake until the outside of the shaker feels really cold.

Afterthat fill two tumbler glasses with crushed ice then strain the cocktail over it. Slowly pour the dark rum over the top into both tumbler glasses so it stains the top of the drink a rusty gold. Now the Mai Tai Cocktail is ready to serve, before serving it garnish with fruit like pineapple, lime and cocktail cherries if you like.
